HACE WITH TIME EXPRESSIONS

1. To talk about an event that began in the past and it is still going on, use HACE + time expression + QUE + a verb in the present tense

¿Cuánto tiempo hace que practicas baloncesto? Hace dos años que practico baloncesto.

2. Here are some time expressions you can use with hace…que and a verb in the present tense: una hora (an hour) , un día (one day), una semana (a week), un año (a year), un mes (a month), poco tiempo, mucho tiempo (a long time).
